So here we are - at the beginning of the Bible and the start of this journey.

Each post will focus on the theme of purpose - what every chapter reveals about God, about us, and about His kingdom.

From the very beginning, God’s intention was to establish His kingdom on earth. After Adam handed authority to Satan, Jesus came to restore the original plan.

As we work through each chapter and book, you’ll notice these themes repeating again and again. Why? Because “There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.” (Proverbs 19:21, NKJV).

God will have His way in the end.
